Investor Visa (subclass 891)

Considered as the second stage after the Investor (provisional) Subclass 162 Visa, this visa offer a permanent residency in Australia along with your spouse or de facto partner, provided the applicant holds a designated investment continuously for a period of four years. The applicant is allowed to travel in and out multiple times at Australia for five years. The family members of the applicant are also allowed to work, study and live in Australia.

What are the requirements to apply for an investor visa (Subclass 891)?

  • The applicant must meet the business requirements.
  • The applicant must hold the Investor provisional (subclass 162) visa.
  • All the character and health requirements should be fulfilled by the applicant and the family members.
  • While holding the Investor Provisional (subclass 162) visa, the applicant must reside in Australia for the period of at least two years, out of the subsequent previous four years from the date of application.
For the primary holders of the investor (Provisional) visa, the family members are also entitled to this visa.
